I have always heard about Rip the Runway but i’ve never had the the opportunity to go until this year. I was overwhelmed with the professionalism and the standard of fashion and music all in one place. RTP has a unique versatile style of merging fashion and music together engaging the audience with iconic figures on stage.
They produced a platform of new talent to show a career in the music, modelling & fashion industry is achievable.
Filing the Troxy is a hard accomplishment by anyones standard, however RTW managed to achieve this and far beyond with fashion designers, families, bloggers TV Channels etc… the effort that the general public showed was fantastic, and the sponsors did a great job publicising this event. Mista Silva was the first act to come on with a boom boom tah. accompanied with the set of fashion designers showcasing there collection. Usually the mix of music with fashion is hit and miss, however on this occasion the dynamics flowed really well and complimented each other like Tea with a Mr Kiplings tart. The event progressed quite successfully as artists continuously took the stage keeping the momentum and the atmosphere flowing smoothly. Artists such as Gfresh, Angel & Fuse ended the evening on a high making sure this event is one not to be missed and surely attended next year. Rip the Runway I salute you.
