More than 3000 runners will be taking part in the 5th anniversary celebration of the Tessa Sanderson Foundation’s annual 10K run which was the first public run to go through Olympic Park in 2009,attracting thousands of participants from all over London and the UK. Runners from all walks of life will compete not only to set new personal bests but also to raise significant funds for charitable causes.
A record number of runners representing over 66 different nationalities have registered to start the East London Half Marathon and Newham College 10K Run. The race will start and finish at West Ham Park in Stratford area, which was at the heart of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
